The Green Pajamas - “I’ve Got a Crush On You”

In honor of Valentine’s Day, here is a very lovely song by one of my all-time favorite bands. There’s a subtle rhythmic swagger to Jeff Kelly’s guitar playing that I’ve always found very romantic and persuasive, and the solo at 3:50 is beyond gorgeous. Even the nearly-two-minute accordion intro works well as a palate cleanser. This is a song I escape into from time to time, six minutes in another place. I recommend listening to it alone and uninterrupted.
